Tooth Defence Board Game

This Tooth Defense Game helps children learn about dental hygiene in a fun and interactive way. It teaches kids the importance of brushing their teeth, identifying foods that cause plaque, and maintaining oral health.

Steps to Play:

1. Select Food Pieces: Randomly pick two food items from the pile.
2. Count Germs: Check how many germs each food item has (indicated by bacteria symbols on the food cards).
3. Place Food on the Teeth: Attach the food item to the mouth on the board.
4. Stamp Germs on Teeth: Use the stamp to place the number of germs corresponding to the food item onto the teeth.
5. Draw Action Cards: Draw a brushing card that describes an action, like brushing the teeth or adding more germs.
6. Brush the Teeth: Follow the action on the card to either remove germs or add more, depending on the hygiene habits described.
7. Game End: The game finishes when all the food is eaten. The child wins if they successfully clean all the teeth, but they lose if there are too many germs left, leading to cavities.

Tips:

• Distribute Germs Evenly: Make sure to distribute the number of germs evenly across the teeth. If not, the teeth will decay quickly!

• Damp Brush Head for Better Cleaning: Dip the brush head in a little water before brushing, this helps clean the teeth more thoroughly.

• Wipe Off Excess Water: After brushing, if there’s excess water left on the teeth, use a tissue to wipe it off for a cleaner result.

This game encourages good brushing habits and helps children visualize how food and bacteria affect their teeth.
